GRRRR - I'm aggressive...

Maserati has just anounced that it will be unveiling yet another variant of their excellent flagship saloon, the Quattroporte at the Detroit Motorshow.

Maserati describes the new Quattroporte Sport GT S as setting "yet another milestone in terms of sportiness in the high performance luxury saloon segment of the automotive market. Conceived and developed as a real driving machine in the guise of a luxury saloon."
Here's a hint of the technical specs of the Sport GT S:

>a newly remapped V8 4.7 litre engine - with power increased to 430BHP
>new the gearshift management software - a mysteriously-worded release from the Italian manufacturer states that "new features designed to increase driving enjoyment"
>uprated and lower suspension system featuring single-rate dampers
>a throatier, bellowier (I know that's not a real word) exhaust note thanks to a new exhaust system
A more aggressive look is also evident in the general look of the car.
I've officially tested two variants of the Quattroporte in it's current guise (I've also seen them having their Ferrari engines fitted in Maranello) and I'd put my neck on the line by saying that it's one of the best large sports saloons for your money.
DriveWire would like the Sport GTS test model in the usual metallic black please.
