Chris has many skills and he'll tell you that without any sense of modesty whatsoever. He's been my friend for many years and I've seen his career build steadily during that time. As he will probably tell you himself he's a very well respected multimedia expert - web design, photography, film editing and motion graphic design are just a few of his skills.
Chris has accompanied me on many of my test drives as both a photographer and an enthusiast. He appreciates automotive aesthetics better than anyone else I know but still doesn't know his C-Pillars from his shoulder-lines!

Paul Green graduated from Heriot-Watt university with a 2:1 honours degree in Computer Science in 2001 and has since been working in the software industry. Having worked on diverse projects from net appliances, to arcade machines, to web sites, Paul has learnt a broad range of skills. This skill set was put to good use in 2005, when Webcorona Ltd was formed and web development became the focal point of his career.
A passion for cars and motor racing has always been present. As a youngster, there were days when hours were spent watching Formula One, followed by the rest of the day of playing the same track, on the PC. Paul is currently driving a Nissan 350z. The next car on his list is a Vauxhall VX220, Lotus Elise or perhaps even a superlight!
When the opportunity presented itself to combine a passion for cars, with web development, co-founding Drivewire was a no-brainer.

I'm sure Derek won't mind us referring to him as a 'seasoned campaigner'. He has been a high profile figure in the automotive press fraternity for over 35 years.
Derek started writing about cars in the Belfast Telegraph back in 1972, when there were no speed limits on the motorways and the Troubles were at their height. While the country was in turmoil, a colleague reported that six people reading the paper on the train one evening, were all glued to the motoring page. His best compliment ever!
DB has since travelled the world attending car launches and visiting factories in Korea, Japan and the USA. His style is descriptive, leaving the reader to make up his or her mind about the car under test."People buy a feeling as much as a means of transport" he says.
The DW team are not only colleagues but big fans of Derek's work.

This is David 'Maso' Mason - his role in DriveWire is that of researcher, acting as support for Bob and the rest of the editorial team - he's one of the best 'story-getters' about.
David is the central figure in a 'colourful' car history, a seasoned practitioner of 'bangernomics' with a taste for the slightly eccentric and vast experience including challenges like the Mongol Rally.
He's fascinated by the stories that surround cars rather than whether it has climate control instead of air conditioning. He was influenced by a close family friend Jack Nihill who was an old-school car journalist and one of the few to see the VW factory before WWII.
His current stable of cars consists of a home made Citroen 2cv (Genghis McCann) and a Mondeo estate which he bought from a Scally Rally team - it looks like a Nasa Shuttle. In the past, his garage has included self-crashing Volvos, off-road Micras, chavtastic Mantas, joyrider-magnet Mazdas and awful Austins to mention but a few.

I'm glad to see Maso added to the list. His contributions are always on a slightly different wavelength, which makes them all the better!
